Chat Filter * [Eg. If I type Urgoz's, I only see messages containing Urgoz's.]
I searched the sticky containing a list of ideas been mentioned and suprisingly this isn't there.
My idea
A new catergory in the chat window, allowing for fast searches of messages been posted in that particular town/outpost. If I am searching for Drago's Flatbow, or maybe any type of Flatbow, I can simply check the box near "Filter", then enter a unique chat "mode" sort of thing. I then enter Flatbow and see all messages containing Flatbow posted in that particular town/outpost.
How to use it- Check the box near Filter to disable all other chats except Filter, to see results clearly.
- Enter the search object (ie: Flatbow, Zealous String)
- View all messages that have been posted
- You can now un-check the box near Filter, to remove the list and view all other chats again
- Checking the box after removing the list will bring back the last search you did while logged in
Notes- Loggin out erases the history of the last search you made
- The filter should show all msg's that contain the entry (eg: searching string brings up all bow strings & possible chat containing conversations about string :P)
- The Filter must disable the other chatmodes (ie:Guild chat, Team chat, Alliance chat) otherwise it isnt a filter
- The filter should search all chat modes, including Local, as the automatic WTB moving has provoked a lot of W T B/S's around
